    Theoretical instruction in the assessment and treatment of individuals diagnosed with mental disorders. Includes medications used in the treatment of mental disorders, therapeutic communication and other therapeutic techniques, and assertiveness and leadership skills necessary for safe practice as a licensed Psychiatric Technician.
