MATH 135 in combination with MATH 150 (Trigonometry) serves as a prerequisite for MATH 180 (Calculus I). Topics covered include linear, polynomial, absolute value, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions and equations and their graphs; complex numbers; linear, nonlinear and absolute value inequalities; systems of linear and nonlinear equations and inequalities; conic sections; sequences and series; and the Binomial theorem.
