    Description
    Contemporary Mexican-American literature, drama, and film. Includes discussion of the roles played by gender, religion, language, education, family, ethnic identity, immigration status, LGBTQ+, race, intersectionality and class. Also addresses application of literary tools such as symbolism, language, and theme.
