    Description
    This course examines the processes of socialization with a focus on the interrelationship of home, family, child, school, and community, and as well as the influence of multiple societal contexts including geographical setting, historical perspective, and contemporary perspective. Major theoretical perspectives are examined to understand the collaborative role between family, community, and schools in supporting children's development, birth through adolescence.
