- This course is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration and meets requirements for all Aircraft Powerplant and Airframe Maintenance Technology majors. Structure topics span nomenclature and aerodynamics, set back and bend allowance, riveting, wood, fabric, paint, repairing aluminum, plastics, composites, rigging, component overhaul and inspection.
