- Advanced work experience course in an addiction treatment program or facility. Students will gain actual work experience by observing and performing the core functions of an addictions counselor in this second course of a two course sequence. Students must complete a minimum of 252 hours over two semesters. This course provides the second 126 hours required to meet requirements for the certificate and AS degree.
