    Description: An introduction to the fundamental concepts of motors and their controls, electrical power systems used in industry, theory and application of DC/AC circuits, control transformers and operation of DC power supplies, integrated application of advanced industrial controls for electrical systems and emphasizes variable frequency drives, proximity sensors, speed controls. Topics include ladder diagrams, pilot devices, contactors, motor starters, motors, and other control devices. 54.00 hours lecture and 18.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade only)
