- Description: An introduction to the basic skills and techniques of evaluation and counseling. Emphasis is on listening, responding, building trust, questioning, assessment, reflecting strengths, referral, values and ethics. Designed for professionals and paraprofessionals interested in social work, human services, and counseling practices. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
