- This is an introductory course for students interested in a career in human services. Covers the history of human services, types and functions of human services agencies, careers in human services, skills utilized in the human services professions, ethics, current trends and issues, human need theory and self-support techniques for human services workers. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
