    Description: An introductory course for students interested in community mental health. Emphasis is on theoretical approaches, assessment tools, and application of ethical standards and equitable service delivery. Overview of the history of community mental health in the public and private sectors, the types and functions of agencies, practices, careers, professional ethics, current trends and issues is discussed. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
