An intersectional examination of women's diverse lives, identities, and status since the pre-colonial era, including: Native American women, British colonization, slavery, race, nationalism, the cult of domesticity, sexuality, gender identity, women's rights, women's suffrage, abolition, waves of feminism, women of color feminisms, legislative and political action, coalition building, Civil Rights Revolution, and concerns of the post-Civil Rights era. 54.00 hours lecture.
