Performing in an “acting” capacity does not fulfill this requirement Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionDescription: Reinforces, combines, and integrates subjects learned in the basic fire academy through academic and skills testing in accordance with the State Fire Marshal (SFM) Firefighter I curriculum. Successful completion of this course provides the student with the opportunity to become certified as a firefighter in the State of California and outside of California with those states that offer reciprocity. This course will meet the certification standards outlined by California State Fire Marshals 2013 FFI Certification Training Standard. (Optional certification fee: $225. Fees may be subject to change in this academic year at the discretion of State Fire Training) (Completion of this course does not ensure certification from the State Fire Marshal for non-sworn personnel.) 37.00 hours lecture and 61.00 hours laboratory.
