Topics include PL 94-142, IDEA 2004, ESSA 2017, and the Common Core State Standards. Using academic Standard American Language, pivotal concepts in multicultural and special education such as Free Appropriate Public Education(FAPE) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) are discussed in the context of the roles and responsibilities of teachers and teacher assistants.
