    Description: Provides paramedic students to care for clients with special problems through a review of anatomy and physiology as well as the pathophysiological process of neonatology, pediatrics, geriatrics, abuse, assault, and patients with special needs, also includes discussion of acute interventions for chronic care patients. 36.00 hours lecture and 54.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade only)
