    Description: Meets the specific needs of the family child care provider. Introduction to requirements for obtaining a license to operate a family child care business. Emphasis will be given to licensing requirements, developing contracts, professionalism and health and safety. Topics will include: Review of the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC) code of ethical conduct, Thelma Harms Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale, licensing procedures, and family child care business practices. 8.00 hours lecture. (Pass/No Pass only)
