    Description: This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. This course is a continuation of dental health education with emphasis on the concepts and methods of prevention as they relate to the oral health of groups. Issues central to community dental health such as access to care, supply and demand, quality assurance, health financing, health policy and community program development are presented. 18.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
