    Description: Designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene program. The course introduces the student to the basic principles of pharmacology. Emphasis is on the use, actions, and clinical implications/ contraindications to medications. 36.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
