    Description
    Description: An Introduction to Ultrasonic Scaling. This course is designed to meet the Dental Board of California-approved course in Ultrasonic Scaling. The student will be trained and become proficient in removing excess cement from coronal surfaces of orthodontically-banded teeth. This course is 2 didactic hours online, and in-class lecture, and 2 hours of lab. This Dental Board-approved course fulfills the state board requirements for certification of RDA and OAP candidate teeth in Ultrasonic Scaling. 2.00 hours lecture and 2.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade only)
