    Description: A journey through the fundamental principles used to describe stars, galaxies and the universe as a whole. Description of observational measurements, determination of the physical properties and the theoretical predictions of stellar evolution, properties of: black holes, neutron stars, supernovae, quasars. Classification of, and determination of physical properties of galaxies and cosmology are covered as well. One of two courses that complete the fundamental knowledge base for astronomy. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
