Emphasizes the development of skills needed to perform within a specialized ensemble that performs advance contemporary vocal literature. Introduces advanced vocal techniques in jazz, contemporary, and commercial voice. Expands knowledge of microphone techniques and sound system usage. Possible off-campus performances and local venues. Possible participation in festivals, workshops, and competitions.
