    Description
    This course investigates American history through the words and work of women since the 16th century. Using firsthand accounts, the course analyzes Native-American, African-American, Asian-American, Latina, Pacific Islander, European-American, and immigrant women who shaped U.S. history and culture. Special emphasis on the impact of women in U.S. politics, economics, and social movements. Satisfies the CSU American History requirement. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online.
