    Description
    The study and practice of long-form fiction writing, including the novel and novella. Includes the reading and discussion of works by established authors and sharing of original student work. This course utilizes the writing workshop method, in which class members provide written and verbal feedback on matters of craft in submitted works. Not a substitute for the English composition requirement for a Bachelor's degree. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online.
