- This course offers an introduction to the novel as a literary genre. Selected novels are read, discussed, and interpreted alongside appropriate literary or historical context. The course provides students with an understanding of the novel as a broad and varied literary genre. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online.
