    Description
    This course is an introduction to performance studies. Students are introduced to the oral traditions of storytelling as well as the analysis, appreciation, and application of theories of literature and interpretive performance. Emphasis is placed on the study of literary genres (prose, poetry, and drama), styles of composition, editing techniques, and performance skills.
