    Solve relevant mathematical concepts and business problems utilizing algebra and statistics. After a basic review of foundational mathematical and algebraic methods, explore the mathematics of merchandising, linear break-even analysis, simple and compound interest, annuities, amortization, installment financing, taxes, and insurance. Additional topics include tables and graphs, functions, finance (interest and exponential models), rates of change including applications and optimization, and linear programming. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online.
