    Description
    Exploration of community problems, and the power of design and innovation for meaningful problem-solving. Development of a solution idea prototype documented in an invention notebook. Strategic use of empathy and critical thinking to understand the perspective(s) of stakeholders. Practice in essential job skills including teamwork, user discovery, data synthesis, management of uncertainty, testing, failing forward, and iteration. Exposure to multiple academic disciplines and the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork when solving unique community challenges.
