- Description
- Instruction in mild steel pipe welding using the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process. Activities and topics will include general pipe fitting, welding procedures, electrodes, applied layout, and fit-up, hangers, equipment, techniques. Practice in the certification procedure for the American Petroleum Institute (API 1104) code will also be covered.
