- This course provides detailed education, training, and clinical experience for the direct care of a childbearing woman and their support systems, in a variety of acute, sub-acute and clinical facilities. Care is provided focusing on the individual’s needs across the life span inclusive of the Maternal /Newborn client. Roy’s Adaptation Model are utilized as the foundation for all nursing interventions.
