    Biological concepts used in veterinary medicine. Includes study of basic normal anatomy and physiology in a body systems format of small and companion animals. Related vocabulary and veterinary terminology will be studied throughout the course. Anatomical studies include the observation and dissection of small animal specimens to enhance the understanding of organs, organ systems, and interconnectivity in the body. Commonly used veterinary acronyms and abbreviations are woven throughout the course where relevant. Formerly listed as ANSC 250.
