- Students continue to study the comprehension skills in American Sign Language (ASL), advanced grammatical structures, the continuous emphasis on production skills, and aspects of Deaf culture. American Sign Language (ASL), whereby students develop its historical, artistic, and cultural influence on mainstream society, emphasizing receptive/expressive conversational and cultural skills for communication.
