    Survey of research methods employed in the major sub-fields of political science and an examination of what political scientists do. Concentration on the logic and methods that support the scientific study of political science including theory development, research design, experimental procedures, descriptive methods, instrumentation, and the collection, interpretation, and reporting of research data, and the ethics of research.
