- Ancient philosophy with emphasis on the development of Greek philosophy from the Pre-Socratics through Aristotle. Course may also include later developments such as Hellenistic, Roman, and Christian philosophy or prominent eastern philosophies. Some of the topics include free will/determinism, the nature of existence, being, definition, logic, and ethics.
