- Externship in a live pharmacy setting giving the student practical experience in advanced inpatient roles of the pharmacy technician. Experience in pharmacy practice and operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. Enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. This environment also presents the student with numerous opportunities to improve communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
