    This college fitness class focuses on promoting lifelong fitness, and health and wellness through a planned and systematic complementary fitness program developing strength and conditioning, flexibility, kinesthetic awareness, mental and physical balance, and stress management tools. Comprehensive understanding of physical fitness, cardiorespiratory efficiency, muscle strength, muscular endurance, integrated with self-awareness, social connectedness, and personal growth is developed through a safe and progressive fitness plan. Principles of training are applied to design empirically supported exercise programs that improve health-related components of physical fitness.
