- Introduction to the fundamentals of left and right-hand guitar technique for non-majors and beginners. Class instruction in proper posture, basics of tablature, and notation-reading (first position), elements of classical, folk and flamenco guitar as well as following a popular song chart. Optional stage performance. Students must have access to a guitar. Nylon strings are preferred but not required.
