    Explores the creation, organization, dissemination, accessibility, evaluation, and use of information as it relates to academic research, civic participation, and lifelong learning. Evaluation of the physiological, psychological, and social impacts of information and information technology on the individual in an information-saturated society, with an emphasis on self-awareness, self-regulation, and critical thinking. Use of web-based search tools and sources, focusing on the development of effective search strategies, critical inquiry, and source attribution.
