    Description
    Introduces students to psychological, sociocultural and biological aspects of women's health and explores health services, health education, and healthcare delivery systems. Social determinants of health and health inequities are examined as well as contemporary issues. The course draws on theoretical frameworks from sociology, psychology, and feminist studies to explore the impact of institutions, policies, and cultural norms on women's physical, mental, and social health across the lifespan.
