    This course functions like a user guide for Spaceship Earth. It includes an introductory study of various branches of earth science: geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy. Topics include the scientific method, natural resources, sustainability, minerals, rocks, volcanism, plate tectonics, earthquakes, weathering, erosion, geological time, fresh water, ocean water, ocean currents, the ocean floor, atmosphere, clouds, storms, climate, climate change, stars and stellar evolution, and the formation of the solar system.
