- An introduction course to basic modern dance technique, beginning composition, improvisation, dance history, and philosophy, and social, community, and cultural responsibility. Dance as an art form and as recreation. Through the foundation of modern dance technique, students will develop the ability to express themselves and learn to better perceive other individuals and dance forms in the world around them.
