    Description
    Provides the first time in college student with an introduction to the economic value and personal relevance of a higher education in the human lifespan. Fosters a student's comfort and empowerment in the higher education setting by introducing and exploring self-development concepts and assessments, while also providing a vocabulary to identify social, physiological, and psychological factors that can impact an individual's academic life. Orientation to college and community resources, with instruction in proven learning strategies that empower the student to take ownership of their self-esteem, decisions, accomplishments, challenges, abilities, and opportunities.
