    Description
    The Acute Nurse Assistant course will prepare the long-term care certified nurse assistant to function at a competent level in the acute care setting. In order to reach the stated goals, the course will focus on the role and responsibility of the CNA in an acute care setting, the role of a CNA caring for a surgical patient in an acute care setting, providing gastrointestinal care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing renal care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing reproductive care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing endocrine care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing cardiovascular care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing respiratory care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing diabetic care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing neurological care in acute care setting, the role of the CNA providing oncology/immunosuppression care in acute care setting, The role of the CNA providing pediatric care in acute care setting, and the CNA providing orthopedic care in acute care setting.
