    Description
    This is a one-semester lecture and lab course that introduces the core concepts, problem-solving and laboratory techniques of chemistry. Principles of general, inorganic chemistry with a strong emphasis on problem solving. Topics covered include numbers and measurement; matter and energy; elements and the atom; nomenclature; gas laws; chemical reactions and equations; atomic structure; stoichiometry; units of concentration; aqueous solutions; bonding, compounds, and structure; and acids and bases.
