    Description
    A business focused approach to statistical analysis that examines how to distill useful business information by collecting, organizing, and processing data to facilitate business decision-making. Key topics include estimating confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, development of projections for inferential purposes in the business field, probability distributions (binomial, normal, student-t, chi-sq, F-distribution), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), correlation and regression. Applies both hand-computation and statistical software to data in a business context, including interpretation of the statistical findings. BUSAD 228 is cross listed with MATH 128.
