Transfers ToCSUDescriptionGeneral Work Experience provides an opportunity for students to earn college credit for on-the-job training in a paid or volunteer position. The student will be required to attend orientation at the beginning of the course. One semester unit of credit will be awarded for every 54 hours of work experience. Students may enroll in a maximum of 8 units of work experience per term, for a total maximum of 16 units of general work experience during their community college attendance. Note: Students must be working in a paid job or volunteer position prior to starting the course.
