Students will analyze the social, legal, and cultural responses to victims and explore how factors such as race, gender, class, immigration status, and disability intersect with victimization. The course emphasizes trauma-informed approaches, restorative justice, and the role of emergency services, law enforcement, and community agencies in supporting victims.
