    Description
    This course introduces principles of leadership and supervision as they apply to the registered nurse. The focus is on the role of the registered nurse as a member of the health care team and supervisor of vocational nurses and unlicensed health care team caregivers. Students address basic ethical concepts, principles, justification, and reasoning and apply them to ethical issues and cases involving professionalism, confidentiality, veracity, paternalism, and informed consent in the context of nursing situations.
