- This introductory course is designed to teach the pharmacy aspect of Managed Care and become an insurance specialist. Students will learn all aspects of insurance, common terminology, and definitions for pharmacy operations. Students will focus on reading insurance cards, claim preparation and transmission, troubleshooting claims, important forms used and medicolegal issues. (noncredit course - not degree applicable)
