    Description
    This interdisciplinary course introduces students to the historical and contemporary experiences of different groups of Asian-Americans including the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, Filipino, and Pacific Islander communities. Students will read, view, and discuss materials related to topics such as immigration, exclusion, imperialism, race, class, gender, sexuality, language, social identity and other issues related to Asian-American life including cultural expression through various art forms.
