    Description
    This course undertakes a chronological study of Hispanic culture beginning with the Pre-Colombian civilizations and continuing to the present. Emphasis is placed on understanding today's Hispanic world view which has resulted from the unique cultural and historical heritage of indigenous and Spanish, as well as Northern American cultures. Aspects of culture and values reflected in art, literature, and music are examined. The course is cross-listed as ETH 016A.
