    Prerequisite: HOC 050 and HOC 050A Corequisite: HOC 051 and HOC 052 and HOC 053 This course provides the nursing student with directed clinical experiences in acute care hospitals and a variety of community healthcare agencies for adult and geriatric patients/clients. The nursing student provides comprehensive, holistic patient/client care and teaching to assist the individuals who have acute or chronic illness in the medical-surgical and mental health/psychiatric settings to meet their health needs while incorporating the standards of professional practice and the Neuman Systems Model.
